9th December 2007 Well, not a great start to my blog as the weather is horrendous today. Chris Lloyd kindly organised a bit of a meet with a handful of NPN members/contributors with Chris, David Clapp, Brian Phipps, John Lee, Mark Sellings and myself all keen to meet up at Yarner Woods on Dartmoor, Devon. Due to the forecast, the general concensus was to cancel, and what an inspired decision that was. High winds, lashing rain and the sheer cold with intermittent sunshine would have made it pretty miserable in the hide, regardless of the coffee and company. Still, aim to meet up when the weather is a bit more promising. Apologies for the lack of interest here, but it happens. Perhaps I just shouldn't log my days of disappointments and non-shooting!
15th December 2007 Absolutely freezing today and opted to spend my time updating my website. Weather is cold, heavy overcast and couldn't brave the elements with such poor light. Wanted to go and take some images of the locations that I frequent in and around Devon, but the warmth of the fire seemed favourable. In the end, created new "Equipment" page. Went through the whole site changing my e-mail code so that spammers aren't able to use spam-bots so easily to get my address (http://rumkin.com/tools/mailto_encode) and sorted out the Contact page.
